Fantasmus was founded by artist, publisher and curator Claus Brusen in 2005 primarily to be in front curating exhibtions on Imaginary Realism and publishing art books in the same genre along with publishing art books for a variety of artists around the world. Since the early beginning there have been both plenty of book publishing, which are now sold all over the world, and many different events and exhibitions in both Denmark and a number of European countries.

During publishing projects Claus Brusen has been accompanied by designer and illustrator Bruno Jacobsen, who is our external business associate. Since the beginning of 2012 Mette Torp Bisgaard has come along as business partner taking care of managing, promotion, administration and now this new webpage.

Along with curating and publishing we have a lot of exciting projects on the drawing board concerning both music and art. Other projects will be considered in the future as well.

In the future the ultimate dream is to establish a museum, and a foundation along with it, in Scandinavia to honor and exhibit a variety of artists in the genre from all over the world.
